Why is there only one relief pilot? Shouldn't there be two? It depends on the block time. I believe the specific thresholds are in the CBA, but I think you need an FB on flights 8-12 hours and an FC only on flights over 12 hours. The 767 isn't a 12-hour plane for most airlines. What is an FC? It's ...Jump to post

February Domestic Loads, keep in mind this is dead season DL IND-SLC-91.9% Was January the only month where this route was under a 90% LF? It's impressive how strong this route is. It looks like the 738 is staying on it until at least late October. I bet it'll be extended even further. Remember whe...Jump to post
N505UA 757-222 being brought out of Retirement tomorrow. Ferry from GYR to MIA for some checks. Then back in Service. This is due to the 737 MAX Groundings. HAH! I called that one in one of the AA threads about 757s coming out of the desert for the MAX groundings. Is this the only one coming back f...Jump to post

IND-SLC B738 is extended through October IND-RDU CR9 is added through October IND-BOS extra frequency YOY + E175 added IND-JFK extra frequency YOY IND-ATL 5xMD88 upguaged to 3xB739 and 2xB738 IND...Jump to post
I listened to the ATC archives and the departure prior to this was an Envoy ERJ-140. There was also an Icelandair 763 that departed 4L around the same time as the Envoy. Both departed about 2 minutes before the American because the JetBlue that was in line ahead of AA300 wasn't ready, so there was a...Jump to post
Gojets 7-cr9LR's that are operated for Delta are on a lease from Wells Fargo Trust which is the same leasing company that was a Northwest Leasing company. Do any of you guys know if those 7-2008 Cr9Lrs are leased by DL or Gojet? Rumor but requesting if someone knows if it's a fact: 2-cr7ers(n655ca ...Jump to post

Next Saturday will be a mad-house in customs: DL CDG-IND 5:40 PM, G4 PUJ-IND 5:55pm, WN CUN-IND 6:15 PM I wonder if they will try to use A3 for Int'l arrivals, since all the F9 flights leave before 5:30 PM I don't think the international arrivals hallway extends out to A3 since that gate is on the ...Jump to post
I didn't see anything last week. I'll take a look tomorrow. The most logical place for them to set up would be next to AS (They only use half of their counter) or next to G4 where Onejet used to be. 10 days until Spirit arrives. Has the check in counter been set up yet? I can also check this week, ...Jump to post

EDV flying IND-BOS isn't unprecedented. I flew it with them on the Saturday before Christmas last year. From the Q4 2017 data, it looks like they flew a total of 2119 passengers with a 73% LF, so that would come to 38 flights with the CR9. Very odd, but IND-BOS is going 4xCR9 starting in June. I thi...Jump to post
What about the non-stop flight to Asia some on the IND thread were saying was guaranteed to be announced by year-end? Wasn't there speculation that ANA was going to come based upon a giant blue box in the IND airport? Isn't VNO more likely due to the Sabonis-factor? I can see W6 acquiring the WOW a...Jump to post

Speaking of DL, it looks like they will be getting some odd utilization out of their gates next year. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rLV2el66yBx6Vxz7PJEwqGLJWO-qf6eS0yMiGF4zbQA/edit#gid=0 There are multiple times in the day where they won't have a departure for an hour or more, but if you ...Jump to post

I think this may have been covered at some point and time, but I was at IND yesterday and.....well, what's up with B12? Was it taken out for space concerns on the ramp or what's going on? B12 was removed to increase the space available for the adjacent gates. B6-14 on the even side were RJ-only bef...Jump to post
Anyone else ever notice that the DL app has (3) configurations for the 321: 189, 191, 192 seats. It looks like row 26 is where the discrepancy is. The original configuration had BCDEF in this row. The 189-seat config has only BC, while the 191-seat config has BCDE. I believe there's a jumpseat wher...Jump to post
I would presume, going off a rough estimate of corporate interests in industry, finance, general interest, and what have you, some of the top cities for international European travel would be London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf, Stockholm, Dublin, and Cologne. Just went through the Q2 data again, and wow IND generates a premium for DL Based on DL's RJ routes from BOS: IND ranks 3rd based on Avg n/s fare, behind MYR and CVG (higher avg fare than DTW/RDU/ATL-BOS) - Based on the LFs they are getting on this route we should see some mainline on this route so...Jump to post
Looks like UA/DL upguaged some routes for Salesforce's Dreamforce conference this week in SFO. I noticed IND-SFO was B739/B738 and IND-SLC was B738 this morning. It's really common for the garage to fill up during peak travel periods. In fact, a few times this year, I've seen it fill up even on non-peak travel days (I work on site).
