Re: Delta Widebody Thread - 2019

Why is there only one relief pilot? Shouldn't there be two? It depends on the block time. I believe the specific thresholds are in the CBA, but I think you need an FB on flights 8-12 hours and an FC only on flights over 12 hours. The 767 isn't a 12-hour plane for most airlines. What is an FC? It's ...

I listened to the ATC archives and the departure prior to this was an Envoy ERJ-140. There was also an Icelandair 763 that departed 4L around the same time as the Envoy. Both departed about 2 minutes before the American because the JetBlue that was in line ahead of AA300 wasn't ready, so there was a...

EDV flying IND-BOS isn't unprecedented. I flew it with them on the Saturday before Christmas last year. From the Q4 2017 data, it looks like they flew a total of 2119 passengers with a 73% LF, so that would come to 38 flights with the CR9. Very odd, but IND-BOS is going 4xCR9 starting in June. What are the intervals on the 1st-gen E-Jets? My reaction to this upgrade from Bombardier depends on whether it beats or merely matches what the 175 already had. I believe the E2 and CSeries are up to 1k/10k.
