Re: Brexit EU position Phase 2

The Lords have been doing a great job for UK plc today, by backing three amendments which now go back to the commons: - to remain in the EEA - to remove the fixed date of leaving the EU - continued participation in EU agencies https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/theresa-may-suffers-third-brexi...

I wonder if the A350-900 could make a good replacement for the LGW fleet. Those clapped out 777-200s won't be around forever.

Re: Brexit EU position Phase 2

So after all this time they still don't know what they want. If I where a UK citizen, doesn't matter if I where a Brexiteer or remainder, I would be pissed off of this government, they still don't know what they are going to do. The problem is, Dutchy, nobody who voted to leave knew what they were ...

Looks like non-EU/EEA/Swiss nationals will need to pay EUR 7 to visit the Schegen area (entry fee valid for 3 years) as of January 2020 (or at least, that's the current planning). http://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/press/press-releases/2018/04/25/european-travel-information-and-authorisation-system-...

I noticed that that the fifth 787, N787FT is now being scrapped. What is going to happen to the plane once it is scrapped? Will it go to the garbage dump or become something else.

Is there any reason why the shell could not be used as an artificial reef as some required aircraft have been?

Re: SAS places order for 50 A320neo

SAS has the most generous pitch on the A320neo in EUrope. British Airways and Lufthansa both have 180 seats, Easyjet 186 seats, while SAS has 174 seats.
