Re: United Fleet Upgrade Status - 2018

UA's aircraft numbers are 4 digits, so 0754 (B737-700) will not conflict with 7754 (B737-10MAX) The MAX9's do no conflict with the B737-800's, the 800's start with "0", 0501, where the MAX9's start with "7" , 7501, so no conflict. Indeed. Which still leaves the logic of the MAX1...

1. Sort of. The old C North structure will be torn down and a new structure built in its place. The new structure will be part of the International/Terminal D Complex 2. Probably because they don't anticipate ever needing any more than 2 A380 gates. 3. As others have mentioned, all of the ticket co...

Re: United Fleet Upgrade Status - 2018

I would assume it is to avoid conflicts with the 73G fleet but that's probably not the case. Such conflict is happening now with the Max9 and the 738 fleet numbers... More likely some desk jockey just made a purely random decision. Someone at CO did the same with the 762 and 753 fleet numbering too...

To me it would depend entirely on why the flight was delayed. If it was something under the airline’s control, say aircraft maintenance, then I would say they are, in fact, responsible. But if it was caused by weather or Air Traffic Control matter, then no.
