Re: AEP Reopens after 7 Months and New Extd Runway

I've been past this airport once, although never flown into it...the terminal space reminds me a bit of MDW in the way it's right up against the road and creatively planned. However, looking at a map, they could probably take out the parking lot and add 3-4 more gates there. Looks like there is a de...

Re: Alaska Airlines Fleet/Network Thread - 2021

WN could seriously mess Alaska up if they got on SEAANC with dirt cheap fairs. I feel like WN is more likely to go at Alaska in PDX If they got on the Alaska trunk routes with low fairs people would start switching rapidly. I can't see WN going into more than ANC and FAI, maybe (big maybe) JNU. WN ...

Fun fact. Chicago is closer to Nashville than Raleigh. Geographically, Nashville didnt help the AA network that much. It would have served the function of CLT in the pre-merger AA network. Sub-optimally. CLT being further east helps a lot for North-South traffic . There's a reason no one really has...

The press release references “enhanced” SLC flights. The 4X frequency isn’t new. Returning to an all 175 schedule would be enhanced from the current mix of 700’s, 900’s and a single 175. It may suggest a further upgrade or could be the effort of the copywriter to beef up Fresno as a destination. Gu...
