Raggaebird when I stopped in Cape Verde, they indeed opened the right door, but we were NOT allowed to disembark.
This was on the now defunct Air Afrique.
You were very fortunate!
"Can you idiots get it right?"
Q A N T A S has no "U"!!!!!!!!!!!
They get really bent behind that lemme tell ya!
I have noticed a great deal of Dubai action and mentions lately. I understand the strategic middle east location, and it being in a fabulously wealthy nation that is somewhat free of the hostilities that generally visit the region lately. My question is ,when did this airport/city become so prominen...Jump to post

The reviews were savage, and I was prepared to really hate it. I saw the first two episodes back to back because I was able to TIVO them. Understandably the gender switches of the original character names is a little weird at first, but I hate to admit I enjoyed them both especially the 2nd episode....Jump to post
Prosa.. When the A train pulls into the station, you cross over the tracks and enter the subway station, buses meet passengers immediately outside the station, you can't get lost.
If the bus isn't there, one will arrive shortly, or you can get information from token booth clerk.
Docpepz... Thank you for that well constructed response.
BTW, thank you for all the other relevant responses as well.
As we all know, being a native English speaker doesn't make one necessarily the greatest communicator, that being said, I apologize if my question wasn't exactly clear to all!
Kingsford, actually I'm NOT American born, I have traveled extensively, however. I realize that Non Americana do tend to speak more than their native tongue, most tend to be multi lingual due to the proximity of the neighboring countries. I didn't mean to start "that" kind of baiting. Was just curio...Jump to post

It looks like back in 2000.
Is it currently in production?

I would hazzard a guess, its some form of a millitary aircraft. Shortly after 9/11, i was in the DC/MD area when i heard the most frightening noise I had EVER heard. I never did get a view of the aircraft, but I certainly felt in a post 9/11 world, this might be the "BIG ONE"! Then i remembered wher...Jump to post

Backfire you are absolutely correct, but you know what? Sometimes blowing hard is enough. MattD made it quite clear he wasn't shopping at Ikea anymore. BTW... The WTC station accepts NYC Metrocards?
Has that been "announced"?
Good luck with that complaint.... I can still feel the heat emanating from you as you constructed that well crafted letter.
I'm not sure you'll be satisfied with their offers if any.. which will no doubt include some kind of "incentive" to return to patronize them!
Gift Card etc.
I didn't mean to make a judgment on the merits of the intervention per se, just that we are the superior military force in Iraq, and we seem to be taking losses that are increasingly, at least to me, difficult to bear from missiles being launched from donkey carts etc! <acronym title="Nigeria Airway...Jump to post
Am I alone in thinking not enough is being made of the body bags coming home? GWB has not allowed ANY news coverage of our young men coming home in body bags. In light of the increasing deaths since "the end" of the war, either we need to overwhelm those so called insurgents by blacking out all news...Jump to post
