Slight correction, if I may:

The P&W JT9D-7R4H engine is for the Airbus A300-600. The -7R4G2 (54,000 Lb. thrust) was the version for the 747-200 & 300 series.

As far as I know, that is the most powerful engine for a civilian 747 classic.
