I have to agree with Will, Stay clear of the Fuji and get a DSLR if you're serious about Avaition Photography, and if someone else is footing the bill, go for it You can get a Canon 10D for about <acronym title="Airborne Express (USA)...

Or better still, fly over to NY and give the missus a weekend away. You can fly via Dublin. I just checked flight to NY with Aer Lingus €238 return P/P So with the GB£ exchange rate thats about £170, quite cheap!! Will There seems to something wrong with your friends camera, Mind you that is one small camera. It should keep the settings once you change them, however you must click the ok button when you've changed it. If you don't it wont keep the setting. Great shot Andrew

Now that you've recovered you photo's, what was the root cause of the problem. Bad CD, equipment?
Just so that amatures like me can learn from you.

Thanks

Telephoto Or Teleconverter

Hi everybody Your advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated here. I have two main questions 1) I have been doing photography for some time now, about 10years, mostly 35mm film with my Monolta 500si. The lenses, apart from the standard ones, I have a Minolta 500mm Mirror Reflex lens, which ...

One other thing I found out to my cost, they'll charge you the vat and import duties on the postage aswell.

I didn't know that Canon wouldn't repair parts bought outside Sweden! Presume they extend that to the whole of the EU?!

I've had another look at the photo and I think it looks good to me. However if the plane behind the stabilizer was taken out or was blocked more so that all you could see was the main plane and two tails . . . that would be quite a good photo. I dont quite get all this level talk. Take care Fergul

I have recently bought a Canon camera, 10D. You might want to try the above site for lenses, they're quite good on prices. Personally I would go for the Canon lens.

Good luck

Don't buy in Ireland for cameras, or anything else for that matter. You get ripped off in this country. Best deals are in the UK or EU. Cheapest price I found for the EOS10D in Ireland was €1800 with a sigma lens. I got my 10D for €1700 but got two Canon lenses, 28-100 & 75-300 <acronym title="Koh S...
