At this rate, I think EWR will probably pass ORD as UA's largest hub. No and it wont even be close. EWR certainly has been more of a target for long haul international flying than ORD, but EWR could never produce the domestic hub traffic ORD does. IAH-CDG is a much larger local market than DEN-CDG. Much higher fares as well.

But given the time of the announcement, I would suspect EWR-Smaller French markets as opposed to IAH or DEN to CDG.

I doubt it. Tiny low yielding market. If it is something from DEN, I would imagine it would involve a partner hub.

I had seen that IAH-GIG was coming back at 3x weekly, but it looks like it will be daily for at least December 15 into January. Given that many flights only have one or two seats open in business class, Id imagine it will stick.

The portion of the population that flies is a lot higher than 55% vaccinated. Plus no one is banned.
