Ralgha, for us in Canada we must demo for private, and the commercial candidate must enter the spin and recover as well. Obviously a slight difference between the two governing bodies.

I hear where your coming from Aaron atp, and we share the same kickin first name! But the fact is we have to demonstrate a spin at least once for our private students. And our Commercial students must be taught how to place the aircraft in one and recover as well. So hopefully we keep those flights ...

Our 98 R model seems slightly more reluctant to spin than the <acronym title="SATA Air Azores (Portugal)">SP</acronym>. Both do seem to require about 1500-1700...

Usually they retro-fit the interiors with extra fuel tanks. Usually not enough still for a non-stop trip. I believe they make a few stops along the way in places like Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland, and others on their passages to new owners/operators.

I agree with Jhooper, if you have it ingrained in your mind that your pitch attitude is controlling airspeed, and power is controlling altitude, you'll do just fine. Always remember that everything in flying pretty much comes down to Attitude + Power = Performance Good luck with your flight lessons!

Let's just say that these "training bonds" are a very hot item on certain message boards for aviation, especially in Canada. And unfortunately it sets the precedent of the smaller carriers and charter operators implementing similar systems.

Right now it seems to be mainly the 343's serving those routes. Occasionally getting a 763.

Be a shame to see the 340's go however, I love watching them eat up rwy 16/34 in the summer months. But the 330's look pretty good as well.
