The Canon Powershot SX260/280 come in at around $200-250. I recently bought one of these for a cousin and carried with me on my trip overseas. I used it extensively before I gave it to him prior to returning. If you are in the US, then thats the amazon price and best buy usually matches it.

Macau is very popular among Indian tour operators lately. Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore (and now Macau thrown in for good measure) is the most popular package tour from India. Can be still kinda pricey but dunno if an LCC flight might bring the prices further down and make it accessible to more people.

I always held the camera facing up while changing out lenses and recall doing this atleast 2-3 times out doors. I am not sure if that is adding to the dust on the sensor. Like NZ107 said....It might help a little.

There is a spot just under the nose of this aircraft which I have been noticing on my other photographs too. Its in the same spot and I am not sure whether its on the lens or the filter.
