Re: American Airlines Network - 2023

I never recall seeing it announced, but it looks like PHX-HMO went from a CR7 to a E75. Then in January, it'll be an A319? That's quite an increase in demand. Is the A319 permanent? Just for the peak hunting season and then it'll go back go a 175/CR7 mix depending on the month. 319 is needed for th...

Re: American add new CLT routes and modify Europe from other hubs

CLT-GEG is interesting. I would have expected BOI before GEG. CLT-YYC is currently $3,000 nonstop one-way in Y. :bouncy: AA likely doesn't have all fare buckets open for sale. Prices should dramatically drop within the next week as it is fully loaded into the system. Fare buckets always lag several...

Random find, it looks like AA PHX-LHR from March 30 - April 3 will depart PHX at 10:05PM, arriving in LHR at 04:05PM. Does anyone know why this temporary change and very late departure? Not sure why everyone questions what DL’s doing here. In the past 10 years DL has done a fantastic job of building focus cities/hubs and at least committing and sticking with them. They may struggle financially at a lot of these cities but no expansion ever occurs successfully if not playing the lo...

Not particularly surprised. Both Cutter and Jackson Jet charge a hefty penny at PHX and given the limited ramp space it has only been increasing. This isn't a fully new policy, this has been WN's policy for years. In advance, you still have to buy the second (or third) seat and you only get the cost refunded to you if you request it after travel. The only piece that is being touted as "new" is that you can self identify as needing a...

UA configures their 737-700 at 12/114. The MAX7 is a bit longer so likely either 132 in total or possibly 138. WN specified a plane at 150 even (all coach). Given that, I'd say 132. 132 would leave a lot of wasted space. I could see them doing something along the lines of 12F/42MCE/84Y for a total ...
