I was driving by FLL yesterday and I noticed that UAL had parked a few of their aircraft near the FEDEX ramp, apparently in storage. Just curious why UAL is keeping aircraft at FLL instead at one of their hubs.

Congratulations! I just paid off my 2017 Volvo XC 60 that I bought used. I was originally going to pay cash for it but instead I put a large payment down as I needed the balance for something else at the time.Going to start putting money away now for the next car.

UA SFO-FLL cut unfortunate - no more UA flights from south Florida to SFO. Maybe this flight returns for the winter season? We will see. Doesn't UA still fly SFO-MIA? In April I am taking an AS flight nonstop from FLL to SFO that leaves at 6 am but arrives at SFO at 0930 am which is nice. Seems like this flight is operating only during Spring Break/Easter.

I use Priceline fairly frequently and indeed the bidding option has been done away with. For hotels, Priceline now features "Express Deals" in which one can get a good price for a hotel. The catch is that the name of the hotel is not provided until the customer reserves.

I only had one in 2019. My flight from FLL to LAX (AS) arrived on time but my onward flight to SFO on AS was delayed by 3 hours due to the plane being stuck at JFK due to a snow storm. Not a big deal though as I was on vacation and I spent the time at the LAX AA lounge.
