For China this isn't good news but it simplifies things. Now Australia is like a US extension, a US state. If relations with the US go down, they will go down with Australia too, and vice versa.

EU countries have 90 days of oil reserves at least, I'm sure the UK still has this (unlike natural gas that they stopped storing). Apparently there is huge lobbying in Germany and France (and EU countries in general), by US and Russian companies, including ad campaigns etc., to convince Europeans that nuclear = bad for the environment, and gas = good for the environment. To the point people think nuclear emits more CO2 than gas !

What was a Simca 1000 doing in the US ? I think our "regular" in France is equivalent to the "premium" in the US, and our "premium" is better than that. Due to smaller engines with higher compressions being the norm, not huge engines with low compressions.
