Where Did The Term "Eurowhite Livery" Originate?

It's not even white. I classified it as "debatable" along with PIA, which is off-white as they can look white in the distance. The so-called Eurowhite tag seems to be applied to airlners that have a white fuselage with a coloured tail. Hadn't thought about the engines though!

This is not a new problem. I remember a story in the seventies about a stewardess bringing a meal into the cockpit of a BOAC (I think) airliner and finding BOTH pilots asleep
