They only directly overlap in 2 routes to HI (I believe). LAX-OGG/HNL.

OAG Changes 2/23/2020:AA Drops ORD-CRW/DLH,Adds Back JFK Flights;UA Drops JAN-ORD Again;UP Exits FLL-GGT

If AA can't find anything more profitable than RIC and PHL to fly to from JFK then why don't they just give the slots back? Why lose money? AA is an extremely distant third at JFK so it's not like they have any market share to defend. AA decreases flights at JFK, Anetters complain. AA adds some fre...

Re: AS to join OneWorld / AA to make SEA an Intl gateway

I am shocked at what happened on the India side. I can’t think of any other major airline that flies to BLR that already doesn’t fly to BOM and DEL. It’s shocking that AA bypassed India’s Tier 1 cities in DEL, BOM, CCU and MAA and went straight to BLR. MAA is southern India’s premier gateway city a...

Re: AS to join OneWorld / AA to make SEA an Intl gateway

Yes, indeed - once AS joins, one world will have at least one non-stop flight a day between every major city on the West Coast (SEA, PDX, SFO/SJC, LAX and SAN) and every major city on the East coast (BOS, JFK/EWR, PHL, IAD/DCA/BWI + MIA/FLL?) - I would guess MIA-PDX should be only a matter of time....

I wouldnt be surprised if the 787 did a DFW - SFO SEA - BLR - SEA - SFO DFW rotation. I agree UA is on the right track in terms of business strategy. Their build out of the DEN hub is a case in point. They need to improve their domestic product to catch up to DL. AA has 47 789s , 22 on property 25 on form order, vs. DL’s ten 77L’s. DL is not going to win the long haul battle.
