Great Report! It's interesting to read about one of the smaller and often overlooked European airlines. The in-flight service seems to be pretty impressive too.
Jump to postThanks for sharing! I miss the old girls! They were one hell of a work horse and I enjoyed every trip on them. Thanks for your comment! You're right, they were rugged, reliable and hard -working aircraft. And Delta is a great airline, I always enjoy my flights with them. :) You are one lucky person...
Jump to postI would say though, the previous AC scheme was not all that inspiring, so the current scheme is a big improvement on that. I liked the tail, specially the maple leaf. If your flight departs before 09:45, you will receive a Dutch Stroopwafel. Flights departing after 09:45 are stocked with Asian and Ranch snack mixes....
Jump to postMy brother flew on a KLM 747 Combi to China. The extent of his observations was "It was an Asia plane", referring to KLM Asia.
Jump to postThis is my first post on Airliners.net, although I have followed the forums for a couple of years now. My favorite aircraft manufacturer is McDonnell Douglas, so I thought I'd start off with a report from a trip taken back in 2013, when I took the opportunity to fly on one of Delta's last DC-9-50 ai...
