Re: A less known airline: Air Moldova to Chisinau and Moscow

Great Report! It's interesting to read about one of the smaller and often overlooked European airlines. The in-flight service seems to be pretty impressive too.

Re: BOS-ATL-ORD-BOS, 2013 Part 1: BOS-ORD onboard a Delta DC-9

Thanks for sharing! I miss the old girls! They were one hell of a work horse and I enjoyed every trip on them. Thanks for your comment! You're right, they were rugged, reliable and hard -working aircraft. And Delta is a great airline, I always enjoy my flights with them. :) You are one lucky person...

Re: Should Air Canada Update Or Change Its Livery?

I would say though, the previous AC scheme was not all that inspiring, so the current scheme is a big improvement on that. I liked the tail, specially the maple leaf. It was such a change in appearance compared to that logo they have had during 30 years. http://www.airliners.net/photo/air-cana ... ...

Re: Should Air Canada Update Or Change Its Livery?

I really like the current livery, although the tail takes a bit of getting used to. I would say though, the previous AC scheme was not all that inspiring, so the current scheme is a big improvement on that. Based on that, I'm quietly confident that the new scheme hinted at by Longhauler will also be...

Re: KLM unveils 'Orange Pride' Livery on 777-300ER

A really eye-catching livery, and great as a one-off application. I like it a lot - especially the Dutch Flag Cheatline, which really serves to accentuate the orange of the front section.

Re: Is There An Airline That You Would Never Fly?

Interesting question. I'm loyal primarily to KLM, so the majority of my flying is done with KLM and other Skyteam airlines, particularly Delta. Beyond that, I fly fairly regularly with Icelandair, because its a quirky little airline that keeps the cost of crossing the Atlantic low. So I split my fly...

Re: UA 737 SEA-IAD What To Expect?

With regards to catering: 1. Tea, Coffee and Soft Drinks are Complimentary 2. United recently reintroduced complimentary snacks in the economy cabin. If your flight departs before 09:45, you will receive a Dutch Stroopwafel. Flights departing after 09:45 are stocked with Asian and Ranch snack mixes....

Re: When Heathens Fly. ;)

My brother flew on a KLM 747 Combi to China. The extent of his observations was "It was an Asia plane", referring to KLM Asia.

BOS-ATL-ORD-BOS, 2013 Part 1: BOS-ORD onboard a Delta DC-9

This is my first post on Airliners.net, although I have followed the forums for a couple of years now. My favorite aircraft manufacturer is McDonnell Douglas, so I thought I'd start off with a report from a trip taken back in 2013, when I took the opportunity to fly on one of Delta's last DC-9-50 ai...
