RE: Boeing Confident In 747X

Boeing has every reason to be confident in the 747X as it is a superior aircraft ( also better looking ) than the A380. But, time is running out for them to find a customer. I'm hoping that there would be a customer for the 747X Stretch soon. Go Boeing!!!!!!!!!!!! <img src="/discussions/graphic...

RE: China Airlines Alliances...

They are not a member of any alliance so far. But OneWorld would be perfect for them.

What do you think? Should they join OneWorld ; SkyTeam or Star?

RE: Boeing Plans New 800 Pax Blended Wing Jet

I agree with Cwapilot in that Boeing never said that there would be no market for VLA, they only said that there is no sufficient demand in the timetable Airbus provided.

Can't wait for the new Boeing!!!!!!!!!

RE: Has Boeing Lost The Battle With The A380?

I hate to admit it but unless Boeing finds a customer for the B747 stretch by the end of the year, chances are that no one will buy it.

Still, I think the 747 Stretch is better aircraft.

RE: JAL´s Ugly Jubilee Jumbo

I agree that a world class airline like JAL should not use cartoons on the livery of their aircraft. But it doesn't look that bad.

Go JAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cathay Pacific has been very satisfied with 777 so it's no surprising that they may order more!!!!!

Should Boeing launch the B747X Stretch, I expect

airlines like Japan Airlines, British Airways, Cathay

Pacific, Lufthansa, Qantas (maybe), Singapore Airlines

(perhaps) etc. to order it.

RE: El Al To Order More 747s & 777s?!?!

Some of El Al aircraft are getting quite old so more orders of new aircraft won't be a surprise.

As El Al has been a loyal Boeing client, more 747 and 777 are likely.

Asiana and Korean Air are both very good airlines.

But Asiana does have a better safety record than Korean Air.

Asiana does fly to international cities.

I heard that Asiana might join OneWorld.

Aircraft Delivery?

Hi guys

Just want to know: How does Boeing or Airbus delivers short range aircraft like B737 or A319 to airlines located far away.

Example: How does Boeing delivers a 737 to Korean Air?

Why in the world would SIA order the A330-500 when the Boeing 767-400 would be a much better choice?
