I think you did a great job with your trip report. It is possible that the chicken was bland because air pressure can have an effect on our taste buds. I live on the east coast, so I can't wait until HA spreads their wings to other cities out east other then New York.

The policy is clear unaccompanied minors 5-15 must use United's unaccompanied minor service there are no exceptions. Would love to know how he got there from BC in the first place and why return arrangements weren't similar. Perhaps the roundtrip was booked on Air Canada with only the return leg on UA and somehow it got the pass in their booking system? I mean the whole thing about citing rules found on UA's webs...

That is strange and unprofessional that the F/A just pushed the BoB cart down the isle without saying anything. As far as everything else maybe they have some hiccups since they are just starting out. I pray that things improve.

I remember years ago when a person was arrested on that beach for throwing a bottle at the cockpit window of a US Airways plane as it was landing over Maho beach. I seriously doubt they are going to shut down a beach that is popular with tourist. Maybe they should, but I doubt they will.

I know Pan Am used to have a lot of fifth freedom flights all over the place. Northwest used to have fifth freedom flights out of AMS and NRT. TWA had TLV.
