I think ORD makes sense since it is not far from a lot of places in the USA and Canada. Ethiopian must get a lot of business traffic.

I remember when I was a kid back in the 70's & 80's you could get a meal even on a 1 hour flight. However, a lot of people used to complain about the taste, and they would say that airlines should not even bother making food if it is going to be so bad. I guess they got their wish. lol

It's DHL, the fly up to 8 daily flights on ANC-CVG, mostly with 744's and 748's. Does Singapore Airlines still fly a 747F to ANC? Yes, they fly ANC-CVG a couple times a week with a B74F. That was a fun report to read. That is ridiculous that it took the Norwegian crew 35 minutes to heat up your meal. Plus, they should have either replaced it, or given you a credit once they realized they burnt it.

Flying Blue miles can't be earned on alaska flights starting 30-4-18, Not surprising after Alaska cut ties with Delta/Aeromexico. Alaska moving away from SkyTeam and more and more towards OneWorld. A few days before this tragedy I flew from IAD-LAX on an AA DC-10 with my family. We stayed in Los Angeles for a few days, and then flew to Phoenix to see my grandparents. When we got to PHX my grandmother told us what happened.

All the airlines are going to worry about is how many fannies they can put in the seats because they know that if you live in a place like Washington D.C., and you have a meeting in New York, or Boston, you probably are not going to drive there.
