I am sure ARN-LAX will be up there now that SAS will switch the route to CPH and Norwegian won't fly any long haul out of ARN. MXP-BOS has to be up there. Along with MXP to LAX and IAH. MXP-LAX is operated by Air Italy, though it is only a seasonal service. Also, if you check in/drop a bag at the airport, you are supposed to do it at T5 when departing from the Eagle's nest. In reality, I doubt they will turn you away if you try to check in/drop a bag at T4.

I would skip UA as there is no reason to a premium to fly with them. Also wouldn't fly AA if you have DL as an option. Operationally, AA is just terrible when there are delays/cancellations. So that leaves either DL or WN. If your WN points won't expire anytime soon and you will be able to use them ...

So this is what Delta probably meant when saying that Skyteam failed. They are instead buying up shares across different airlines to build their own alliance.

Anyway, AA is the biggest loser here, but this will also be a huge blow for other OW airlines, mainly BA/IB. Huge win for AFKL though.
