RE: Should Airlines Weigh The Passenger And The Bags?

I think passengers should be weighed with their luggage. I am quite a light person and weight 3 stone less than the average person of my height. However, I do tend to travel with the whole kitchen sink, and therefore I always have too much luggage and sometimes have to pay for that excess. I see thi...

What a stupid idea. It is just another case of large well-run companies having to subsidize their poorly operated competitors. British Airways tend to use Gates 15, 16 and 17 for their evening departures. Usually the 2325 and 2345 share gates 15 and 16 or 16 and 17, and once they have left, the 0110 flight is pulled onto the gate. I believe Qantas' Perth and London flights usually leave from 17 and Finnair's flight from 16....

Hi, I was wondering how airlines split their long haul/ short haul products in East and South East Asia. RE: Why The 3-3-3 Config On ANZ's 772s?

I think Korean also have 2-5-2 on their 772s.

I personally think that 2-5-2 is a much better layout for most of the time. If full, the seat in the middle of 5 is nasty, however, if the flight is 75% full, then the middle seats need not be used which gives the aircraft a 2-2-2-2 layout.
