I was held together with two other spotters at the local FJR police station back in 2005. You need to be aware of the risk and then it's your own decision whether to pursue your hobby or not.

Interestingly enough, skyliner aviation took down the pic. I remember reading that AS is not a big fan of spotter websites including this one here... so maybe they want to keep the special (or new) livery under wraps for now.

Maybe GA still had unused decals left from previous Hadj seasons (or had produced them in larger quantities to bring down the price) and just used those as a cost-saving measure.
