Re: New Zealand Aviation - March 2023

This must have been some time ago when EK were running the 77W DXB-KUL-AKL? EK don't fly the 77W to CHC, they don't fly there at all until they return next week with the A380. You're right! It must have been related to their flights here last year. Forgot that about CHC - will be good to get them b...

Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine - *Discussion* Thread

Unfortunately, yes. Much of the world would rather let Ukraine disappear than risk an economic downturn as a result of this war. There were quite a few countries who abstained from voting on a recent UN resolution. Even on a non-political level, Russian propaganda has a significant audience outside...

Reported on NECN a note was found on a United flight from EWR - BTV indicating a threat Sunday March 12. The response level was a level 5, which is the highest level. The other items in the bag are bizzare, but maybe they serve a purpose I just don’t understand. Interesting he actually has a hearing and such. My guess would be it was a test flight. It was supposed to fly HA29/HA 30 to OGG and back and those got cancelled. Now it is scheduled to fly to HNL as HA9021. Maybe they repaired something and needed to take it up before heading back to Hawaii.

Re: Jetblue Network Thread - 2021

Is London service sustainable? I see paltry seat maps for upcoming JFK-LGW flights. Better data would be appreciated. I don't think seat maps give the full picture. When things first opened up in November, they were selling out mint cabin on a lot of flights. I'm sure January demand is bad due to O...

Looking at booking UA into BTV in July/August next year but was surprised to see their limited schedules. 2x from ORD on ZW. What gives? In these covid times no schedules are even close to anything this far out. More or less a placeholder to take bookings. You will see lots of rounds of major chang...

Re: The Rest of New England (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN/BGR) Aviation Thread - 2021

One TSA check point will be a huge improvement for BTV. In 2019 pre pandemic both tsa lines backed up pretty back at times. This will really help improve the customer experience Am I missing something? How does the integration of the two backed-up queues into one help the customer experience? Unles...

In other news at BTV, construction has begun on the terminal integration project. So far it looks like it is all external to the current structure. I also saw an item on the construction update for the latest board meeting about a jet bridge for Gate 12. I believe that is the one used by Frontier, s...

Re: Kabul Falls: Evacuation Charter Watch Thread

2 Qatar Planes, the First one is military, the other is a 777, which has now just crossed the border and look at the route. https://www.flightradar24.com/LHOB249/290c0646 https://www.flightradar24.com/QTR7276/290c0e36 Gesendet von meinem SM-G950F mit Tapatalk I believe the 777 at least is bringing ...

Re: Kabul Falls: Evacuation Charter Watch Thread

Just noticed this US registered beechcraft flying from what appears to be ISB south (towards Karachi) with the call sign FRHAD60. Some kind of US special forces or humanitarian flight? FRHAD60 https://fr24.com/FRHAD60/28f77897 Also noticed the Qatar Airways liveried Globemaster in the Afghan airspa...
