I think tatoos are wrong for some reason. Its fast to have a tatoo put on. But it is hard to remove it once you regret it having it put on. Also tatoo removal doesn't guarantee 100% removal.

At first of all do you have enough RAM and is your CPU providing enough power?
Check if any of your RAM chips are burnt. If they are replace them.
Get the program Power DVD or similar program that can play DVD's.

Give this a try. It might solve the problem.
