They can pass out water in a plastic cup, they stewards and stewardesses have been handling, but won't hand you a coke, beer, food or any other beverage. Try Lufthansa! ;) They handed me a glass bottle of Warsteiner when I asked for a beer last week! And they had many more drinks available. Haha!

No, a quick review on Great Circle Mapper will show you that BOS-SFO, for example, is 361 miles further. ORD-ANC is 503 miles further. Then there is PHX-ANC, MIA-SEA, etc.

Just small anecdotal evidence. My flight from HOU-SJD yesterday was ‘full’. Only the middle seats open per Southwest’s policy.

Very healthy loads on the DAL-HOU sector as well.

Arrival (immigration/customs) into SJD was very busy. More so than in years past.
