Re: Delta asks DOT to move Haneda route authorities

It's weak argument. The flight never even operated. DL's argument to the DOT is based on today's demand between PDX and Tokyo. It has nothing to do with the demand 4 years ago. I imagine this figure includes passengers transported by all airlines, not just by DL including those making a connection....

Re: Delta asks DOT to move Haneda route authorities

United successfully exposed Delta’s ruthless deception by charging $10k plus for tickets from PDX to HND to suppress demand and then claim there was no demand. Shame on Delta for these blatantly nefarious tactics. Give the slots to United already! It's weak argument. The flight never even operated....

Flew domestic F on another airline today and it got me thinking, when, if ever is AS going to bring back PDBs in F? How is belly cargo doing for both PDX Asia routes? I would imagine the cargo demand is fairly strong? If not, or if the cargo demand can easily shift to other gateways, it is interesting to note that PDX-TYO seems to be barely within the range of A321XLR. Would that be a possibility? As for ICN-PDX...
