Why is KLM Asia the only surviving brand, while the other larger carriers that started in the 80s-90s discontinued the Asia brand later on? fewer movements, larger aircraft would have been the right response to minimise loss of income to the airport. many of the passengers are probably coming from schengen area and have minimal interaction with staff. even biometric passports reduce passenger interaction. something else is at play here...
