Hi,

thank you all for your opinions. Now I'm definitely sure that I won't buy a 20D but most probably a 30D. The differences between 30D and 40D don't seem to be very big (especially for planespotting) so that's imo better to save some price difference for a lens.

probably nothing for a.net. As already mentioned it is too low in frame and also unlevel. 1599px resolution are way too much and I also don't like the lighting. Don't know about the foreground clutter.

the first one is lacking in overall quality.
The second and third might be something for a.net, edited and croppe (the An-2) properly.
#4 will get a motive rejection for the cut-off parts.

The first two pictures look quite good to me though they are slightly too dark. They also need selective sharpening as some parts appear soft to me.
The third picture is much too dark and blurry. Unfortunately not savable.

sorry to say so, but I think both picture will get a motive rejection for the cut-off parts. The quality in the first picture looks ok to me. Maybe you can edit and upload another shot of it with no parts cut-off (if you have one).

Hi, the first two shots need some contrast as they look very flat. The crop of the Emirates closeup looks odd to me. if the quality is there, 1280px are ok imo.
I would use the "save for web" function which allows you to reduce the file size in very small steps to 1MB.
