Arrow had been looking at DC-8-70s for a while now. It would be great if they do pick some up. I have heard that some of the Emery birds aren't in real good shape. Remember Emery was shut down due to mx problems.

I was wondering how long it would take to get a response about the American Eagle 707. American Eagle was a charter carrier which operated two ex Pan Am 707s in 1980-81. At that time the current American Eagle didn't exist.

I remember seeing an American Eagle 707 that had been impounded at DTW.They parked a large piece of construction equipment in front of and behind it so it couldn't be moved.

Yes that's the original widjet scheme. The DC-9-14 was the only Delta aircraft to wear that scheme.

Please note I was driving on the freeway. It was overcast, raining and getting dark. I'm trying to drive and watch planes at the same time. The aircraft was over a mile away and I only saw the tail. In that situation you can mistake
a Dash 8 for an A320.

When I went by there were two Funjet/Ryan A320s at the charter terminal and the AC aircraft was near the Smith terminal. It was raining and overcast so maybe it was the Dash 8 that I saw. Thanks
