Re: Under 3 hour transit in LAX ok?

I would think 3 hours would be ok. The family and I flew MEL-LAX on QF into TBIT, then LAX-LAS on AA from T4 back in 2014 with a 5 hours layover. Managed to leave something on the plane which was retrieved for me (jet lag brain kicked in) and even being last through customs, navigating TSA in T4 an...

Re: 1 hour layover in MUC

I am presuming this is all on LH. LH is usually very good about helping people with connections. Sometimes they will call your name when the door opens (listen for it) and have a special car or van waiting for you if there is a very tight connection. When that has happened to me it was situations wh...

There was a day when you could hand make a single airplane. During WWII my father was a mechanic working at Lockheed and was one of the people who hand built P-38 and P-80 prototypes. I was under the impression that some aircraft do not require that the thrust reversers to be operational, and that the 737 was one of them. On September 16 my Southwest flight RNO-LAX was about to pushback when the jetway was moved back to the door and the pilot announced that he had "a thrust ...
