Thanks for this memory TR. Stapleton was a classic airport example of what happens when you don't have a proper master plan in place. It's also fun to compare the Google Earth historical image from 1993 to today and try to make out all of the different locations around the now-Stapleton community i...

Weren’t all B707’s built at Renton which has a very small 5,400ft runway? Okay, they were empty aircraft but the first flights of the early turbojet B707’s must have been interesting to watch. I imagine they were fun to watch take off out of there! All 707, 720, & C-135 variants. Not to mention...
