RE: Question On FedEx 757 Fleet And Engines

Shoo me away if this is too off-topic, but what determines where the 727s get replaced next as the 757s become available?

I have used an FZ8 for the past 3 or 4 years and I have been very pleased with it overall. Even though I have an interchangeable lens camera now I still take the FZ out a lot just because of its size and versatility. It does have the usual bridge camera limitations as far as A.Net quality photos go,...

RE: Budgetographers: Small People, Little Skills

All of the handful of photos I have in the database were taken with a Panasonic FZ8 and edited with GIMP and NeatImage (if necessary) While that may have made it a bit harder to get acceptances, I think that it has also improved my skills because there is little margin for error.

I do not see any obvious grain in the second one, but now it looks dark, and there is still not a lot of contrast. The white looks more gray, even in the first photo. I think the basic issue is that the lighting was not in your favor.

As I understand it, most rejection reasons still apply even if you are trying to be creative, unless, for example, the softness or darkness is by design, and even then it would be a judgement call. In this case, there does not appear to be any particular reason to make the shot soft or dark, so thos...
