I know this may sound selfish and I am not being serious, but who else thinks 21 pax on a 14 hour long haul flight would be total paradise! I do! pity about the circumstances. I flew a DFW-GRU segment in February where I was the only PE pax and there were 36 passengers total on a 789. It was weird....

what a joke The issue is Eastern cannot compete in any market with competitors. B6 got approval for a second daily JFK-GYE that will probably kill Eastern's yields on JFK-GYE. lets see how long it lasts... If ASU is any indication, they should do well at MVD, at least during the southern winter. The former was just increased to 3x week, up from 2x. Both markets have consistent demand to the US but not the high yielding one that makes for a profitable year-round operation...
