Alaska Airlines still operate several 737-400 Combi within Alaska and down to Seattle, as well as 737-400 to a fair number of cities. For the A310 there is also Azores Airlines flying to Toronto from PDL on Santa Maria Island I believe.
Just my cents worth...

You sure that's not a 777?
It's too bad you didn't simply ask the Ops Agent that was boarding your flight if you could keep your boarding pass; most Southwest Agents keep the pass as standard procedure, but there is no official policy that it must be collected, in fact, I've recently heard Agents make the announcement at boa...

Jump to postGreat trip report - thanks. I don't fly "up front" very much at all but I feel for you about the rushed service. Jump to postWhere on UA's website do they post the N number for flights? That's pretty cool.
Another option is to check the flight number on FlightRadar24. The recent history will list the N numbers and you can cross reference them to see if they are ERs.

Been watching planes since the late 1970s. I try to get to the airport as early as possible (many hours) so I can plane watch / photograph. With no "significant other" to appease I do as I please aviation-wise. I find a decent window with a view of the aviation action and try to enjoy it. ...
