It may not be luxury but a Delta E-fare stills gets one a free carry-on in the overhead, free AVOD, a seat with recline (and sometimes USB and AC power) and a Diet Coke. No such luck. The only ER planes that are going to be made will be the forthcoming 777-8 and the A350-9ULR (or whatever Airbus is calling it these days). The only thing that comes close are the Ejets. They are 2 + 1 in first class. Delta, UA, and AA typically have 36" to 39" pitch and 20" wide seats. But then again, that is essentially what all of their planes have now regarding pitch and width. They may be 2+2, but that's USA domestic...
