RE: Westjet To Offer Temp Flights From YVR-YYJ

Pardon my ignorance, but how much does the ferry usually cost between Vancouver & Victoria? I know it's not a direct service (Tsawassen to ?), so does this work out to a good deal when you factor in the fuel/time to get to the ferry terminal from the respective cities?

RE: Something Good - Feeling Of Being A Valued Cus

When I was a young kid, our family were on a UA domestic flight. It's been so long that I can't remember where we were going or coming from, but we lived in Dayton, Ohio at the time. Anyway, it was around Christmas time and what happened was that ther...

RE: NW Portland-Tokyo?

For what it's worth and because no one really has news regarding this, I was at PDX this morning and saw that the extra counter space they had (to the left of the MX &...

UnitedFirst: That was the same reason my father gave me many years ago. Even as a young child, I never understood the logic that made CI fly to HND while <acronym title="Chi...

RE: Things You Hate To See

I hate when people open their window shade when it's light out during a long-haul flight, thereby ruining the illusion that it's night for the rest of us. It drives me bonkers, it really does.

RE: Flights Replaced By High Speed Trains

The Chinese government is investing a lot of money into a new high speed rail line to go between Beijing & Shanghai. I don't know if the government is looking at a goal of eliminating air services between the two cities, but surely they're looking at a reduction of air services. I don't have the spe...
