Thank you for writing me back! Yes we have maybe 80% of former tyrolean pilots in our company! So there are a lot of them! You had the possibility to sit in the jumseat during a foehn approach! Thats cool, maybe the best approaches in the world, even better than former Hong Kong approach! But for in...

I often heard the callsign "Ghostrider" and I asked a lot of people who that is, but nobody could give me an answer.

TO Thomas PATRONI:

Do you remember the names of the pilots?
Have you made a visual or a "normal" LOC DME east approach into Innsbruck?

If anyone ever flies withe KLMalps just ask if you can sit on the Jumpseat during Takeoff or Landing. That´s gonna be no problem!

RE: What Is This

Hi there! That´s a NACA air inlet. This inlet is specially designd to take much air in with the least drag! Almost all airplanes have this in different sizes! Also gliders, just to get fresh air into the cabin. In this case it´s used for the ECS packs. Enviromental Conditioning System - air for the ...

RE: MD-80 Balance

That´s not correct completle! On my aircraft we have for example a DOI ( dry operating index ) of 60. Then on our Loadsheet we have two stations for the baggage compartment, wich is in the rear. For every 50 kilogramms we shift the index for about to stations. So we have two CPT for the baggage, the...

RE: MD-80 Balance

That´s correct! Normally you move passengers to correct the arm! I don´t know exactly how it works with the MD-80, but on the aircraft I fly (Fairchild Dornier 328-110), we have problems with the weight and balance specially on those aircrafts wich are not equipped with an APU. Those planes are pret...

RE: Clean Aircraft?

American has to clean their airplanes! Plain aluminium has to be polished more than aluminium with color on it! They have a problem with their airbus 300, because airbus delivers their planes with a special lack wich prevents the aluminium for corrision. So an Airbus is green from the outside when d...

Hi! I really don´t know how much 6´4" are, but I guess this are something about 189 cm. If this would be your height it wouldn´t be any problem! In Europe only the major airlines have restrictions in height! For example Lufthansa has 190 cm and KLM has 195! If your are taller they make exeptions if ...
