RE: A330-300 Read This Please. : )

To all of you who can't speak Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish; Sorry if you can't understand what I'm writing. Til Simon Larsson. Hei, siden du er Svensk så skriver jeg "skandinavisk" for jeg er Norsk. Det jeg lurte på var om SAS skal skaffe seg A330-300, ettersom det er brukernavnet ditt. eller håper...

Hi

thanks for telling.

But PhilB, you got a little to advanced for me, so I'm afraid I didn't fully understand what you meant. Are you in any way involved in an airport or airline?

Does Anybody Know?

Hi everyone. I happened to see something strange the other day. I was sitting outside my house when a Saab-340 passed over me. Nothing strange about that. But then it turned left and did a 360 degree turn, and a nother and another. This looked very weird indeed. It had about two more minutes of fly...

They think they have it bad?
I live like 2 min flying time from the closest airport.

They should come live over here for a while.

Hi all. All of you out there with 10 or 5 gates are lucky in my mind. The closest airport to my house is Stord - Sørstokken (SRP) and I doubt it any one can beat this number. 2 gates!!!! And by that I mean to doors, one for domestic and one for international flights. When the new terminal is ready t...

Hi. Most of you have flown on a plane with First class and economy class. But what do you think about the famous curtain? Some airlines have just started putting them up while others have decided to take them down. What's your oppinion? Should airlines keep the curtain or offer the same prises and ...

RE: Size Doesn't Matter.

Actually what I've learned is that the small Swedish Saab-2000 is one of the quietest planes. Still it feels strange that a turboprop is more quiet than a jet.
( Source: Saab company. + Discovery Channel. )

The noisiest plane I've been on was the BAe Jetstream-31.

Airport Incidents?

Hi everybody. Not to long ago someone asked if anyone had a comment on best/worst meal on an aircraft. Now I'm wondering if any of you have a comment on your best/worst visit at an airport. Was the service good? Was it hard to find the gate, was it easy to get lost, or was there a funny smell outsid...

That looks pretty bad allright. Onboard a BA 747 a female passenger was in 1997 (I think) allowed to control the plane for a while. The question is; Whats worse between having the plane on automatic pilot and no crew, or an inexperienced passenger and no crew? Hmmmmm. [email protected]  <img src="/discus...

Is This The Start Of A Series Of Accidents?

Hi everybody. If you've been to Northern Europe you may be familiar with the Norwegian Airline Braathens. They have only had one serious accident since they started some 50-60 years ago. But on the 18th of october 2000, one of their Boeing 737s had to descent from it's cruising altitude due to loss ...

Anyone Got Some Advice On Scanning?

Hi There. I'm a rather new "member" of airliners.net and have sendt them some of my best pictures several times. Sadly, all have been rejected. Thats because the scanning quality isn't good enough. I've tried my very best to scan as good as possible on my AGFA Duoscan T1200, but it still is not good...
