Am I wrong in thinking this is actually not all that uncommon? Not saying it's ok, just that it happens more often than it makes its way to a.net. I don't know whether it's common or not, but that being published now with the Max' catastrophes and ensuing scrutiny is not good for Boeing. Didn't the...Jump to post
By no means am I suggesting Delta to have a branding change. However, it is more of a suggestion of enhancing its appearance, especially on aircraft with awkwardly small titles like the A321. Additionally, they would also join the ranks of WS, LX, EK, EY, QR in having bold billboard titles.Jump to post

Now that UA has joined the ranks of AA, WN, AS, B6, F9, NK and G4 with utilizing billboard titles on their fuselage, will DL eventually make a similar move? There are certain Delta aircraft (ie A321) on which the titles look unnaturally small.Jump to post
I see no more new paintings! Any one knows whats going on? Did they decided to stop painting with the new livery? We have 14 grounded 737 MAX aircraft going into the busiest time of the year for flights. We will be lucky to not cancel flights due to aircraft shortages. Painting can and will wait. Looks like 27MAR2020 will be the day that PHX loses its 747 service. BA is planning to change its daily LHR-PHX flight from a 744 to a 77W. I can't say we didn't see it coming. https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/283764/british-airways-s20-london-heathrow-long-haul-preliminary-update-a...Jump to post

Ed just announced Endeavor, SkyWest and Republic as the surviving 3 DC carriers over the next 12 to 24 months. The vid is on YouTube. I’m not sure who the crowd represented. It'll be interesting to see which will be the surviving American Eagle carriers in the next 12 to 24 months! Are all of the 4...Jump to post

Yes it has. I am looking forward to see what else they are going to add.
IAD-LHR would surprise me because of Parker’s comments last year about p2p routes and how they would never do them.. kind of a quick about face...
IMHO what CLD really needs is just a non-stop to LAX on an actual airline, essentially providing a one-stop itinerary to almost anywhere in the world. AA (S340) and UA (OO E120 until retirement) both did that previously for many years and although the HP Q200 to PHX was convenient for some, it wasn...Jump to post
I personally like the topic. Over the years there have been many nay-sayers, but many mergers have come to fruition, and the scenario you set is probably most likely of any other combinations in the U.S. to happen. In my opinion, should one of these three - or possibly even JetBlue - suddenly lose ...Jump to post

How about a fifth scenario, and you refrain from wasting keystrokes on a topic you do not personally like or cannot contribute to.

How about let's scrap all of the proposals, and build out T4S1 as planned, where Southwest can relocate from T4S4. T4S4 should then be converted into a Common-use/International concourse to be used on a per-use basis. This would require the creative engineering of some additional infrastructure to c...Jump to post

With American Eagle adding gates at DFW, I wonder what additional new Eagle flights make sense to add to the DFW mega-hub. ALB-DFW comes to mind as a perfect E75 market (and an E75 ALB-MIA flight makes sense too). ROC, SYR and PVD could be new E75 markets from DFW as well. Other Eagle expansion mar...Jump to post

United's Scott Kirby has been talking about United regaining its "natural share" like it's a concept only relevant to UA. But in reality, don't AA and DL also have "natural share" to capture? Examples of this are recent route additions such as AA's DFW-BUF and DL's SLC-ELP. It wo...Jump to post

This all comes back to how Boeing truly dropped the ball by not developing a 737 and 757 replacement in tandem. Instead, airlines are stuck with a cutting edge 50-year old aircraft that had its fuselage MAXed out to proportions not originally intended.Jump to post
