They only share being seafaring nations and eating fish. That's completely irrelevant. We’ll happily take back New Amsterdam. ;) Well, the Treaty of Breda gave your lot Suriname, of course you’d take NYC back. To N1120A. Re: What causes the pause on some aircraft between the time the nose is lifted off and the mains break free?

Technically, the take-off path ends at 35’ above the end the scheduled take-off distance. If it’s balanced, the plane will be stopped or at 35’ OEI, which may or may not be at the DER. For example, if the runway were 12,000’ and even at reduced thrust, the accelerate/continue distance was 6,000’. Th...

Repeal the Income Tax for starts. Strictly interpret Art 1 Sec 8 enumerated powers, none of this using the taxing power to create laws that aren’t based on Section 8. If it’s not enumerated there, it’s on the states. The reason they have power is because we let them have it.

It’s not a delay. Typically, but type dependent, Vr and Vlof are split by about half the difference between Vr and V2. The plane has to accelerate, under the added drag of being partially wing borne to liftoff. Quads usually take longer to liftoff, less relative thrust and greater momentum
