Jump to postTo me, I will try BA next time when I fly to UK soon. Maybe one day, I might have to try their new products. But sadly as agreed by many reviewers on airlinequality.com, their Club World seats are among the worst ever seen and has no direct aisle like many major airlines. You really should try BA s...

@debonair - thanks for the info. I did call PU MAD and they tell me all is fine. All flights operating for the future. Fingers crossed !!
Jump to postThanks for the comments & yes it a very enjoyable day. The best way to get to southern Spain ! Cheers
Jump to postVery enjoyable report. The new suites on DL look great. Cheers
Jump to postReally good report. The service on these short regional routes is so much better than inta European where it’s all bob. And a lot of wide bodies - cheers
Jump to post@debonair - Yes agreed I am looking at that. Thinks it A330 the afternoon I need (Shame no 787!) but yes that would be my alternate. Thanks.
BTW I have reported on my EI A330 trip you were asking about - "TripReports" section. Cheers

MAD-BCN isn't bookable after the end of the month anyway according to their website.
Thanks for the reply, premium seating works, I just refuse to pay for a J class ticket that has 31" seat pitch. Yes agree with that for sure ! Best bet is TUi Dreamliner in Premium. LGW or MAN will have that. Not sure about other regionals. The website does show flights operated with the Dream...
Jump to post-DUZ is my favourite EI A330 because she has the same name as me "Aoife"! This is a jaunt I would love to do one day. Was it bumpy during take off? Lucky you got out during Ophelia and indeed tragic that 3 people have died. Cheers Think I'm right in guessing you are DUB/Ireland based you ...
Jump to postAgreed BA A380 would be the way to go. Upper deck towards the back feels nice and private. Very quiet during flight also. Good food, free booze & good IFE. Just on the business class thing - I must be in the minority as I love Club World ! Big fan. BA do a lot of things right IMHO ! Keep in min...
Jump to postI not sure there are TBH.
Thomson (TUi) Dreamliner operate from UK-Canaries but its only Premium Seating rather than proper J class.
Air Europa also use Dreamliner out of Madrid to Canaries with a real J class.
I'm flying with them next week, it'll be interesting to see what their service and punctuality is like. Please "Trip Report" on that one ?? What routing ? BCN-MAD in a few days, combining it with a couple of other short widebody flights How did you get on with your Plus Ultra flight ? Any...
Jump to postI would take BA A380 if flying Economy. The A380 is great for Economy seat size and BA service is usually great despite a dreadful business class. The A380 Economy is great though. Agreed BA A380 would be the way to go. Upper deck towards the back feels nice and private. Very quiet during flight al...
Jump to postIt was time to try another widebody around Europe & this time it was Aer Lingus A330 DUB to Malaga in J cabin. Aer Lingus does not offer Business Class on anything in Europe so this ticket is booked as economy and then by choosing a 'Premium Seat' on seat selection will get you into EI's long ha...
Jump to postHave just flown Ryanair LGW>DUB. Cost was peanuts, flight on time, it served its purpose but is was not comfortable even for one hour. There is no way you get me on a 4.5hour GLA>Lanzarote or UK>Cyprus in those seats. Couldn’t pay me ... no, thank, you !
Jump to postFrom London why not try the BA 787 down to Madrid ? Approx GBP85 return cheapest fare. BA are taking off the 777 and putting the 787 on the 460 (I think it is) but certainly the 461 MAD LHR - I've booked a couple of flights on it. Alternatively you've also got the Latam 787 from MAD to FRA ...for a...
Jump to postAnother good & enjoyable report on another airline that we don’t see very much. Cheers
Jump to postAgreed that Club Europe is really a waste but there are a few exceptions : BA 777 LHR-MAD-LHR going to B789 soon. IB A346/A330 MAD-LHR-MAD. AY A350 HEL-LHR-HEL. LA B789 MAD-FRA-MAD. These can all be booked with BA/Avios. I’ve done them all in J & loved everyone. A great way to try long haul airc...

I have a booking with mytrip.com and have my e-ticket. It is bookable for 7-10-12-14OCT thru "Skyscanner" website for around £72GBP. BUT what is a worry the week when I fly it does not show up on anything ! Worrying ........ or maybe just full.
It operated yesteray - Two hour delay !
You could try Norwegian LGW>SIN on the 787 & connect up to BKK. They offer some pretty decent fares to SIN.
But that does mean separate booking for SIN-BKK-SIN.
I’m booked on PU2 MAD>BCN in a few weeks but looking at recent flights they will never go on time, normally 2/3/4 hour delays but also two separate occasions where the flight departed 10/11 hours late for a 1h flight. Tuesdays flight I think was cancelled. Anyone in Spain with any info on PU ? Why i...
Jump to postGood report & pictures. Pleased you eventually got the 789 after all the drama ! These domestic wide bodies are great !! Cheers
Jump to postReally good report & pictures. Good memories for me as I flew GA 77W LGW-AMS couple of years ago. I really like the GA cabins. Nice pictures of Bali too ! Cheers
Jump to postBrilliant report ! Very enjoyable. The offerings from LEVEL looks great. IFE looks good, cabin looks comfortable & as you say amazing they don't charge more for front row xtra room seats ?!?! Given the fare you paid, one of the most bargain flights I've seen ! I must try LEVEL at some point havi...
Jump to postVery interesting & witty report on these very random trans Atlantic routes with Norwegian. The fare was unbelievable but I'd worry about how long will these routes last ? Especially mid winter ! I actually would like to try a 737 across the pond - just for fun of course ! Cheers

Jump to posthttps://www.flypointyend.com/5th-freedom-flights/ I don´t want to be rude but I found this in 5 seconds using Google. It's always worth a discussion though. I don't know of any & would be very surprised if you could. Delivery flights are surely only traveling with the manufacturer & airline employees ?
If anyone could tell me different I would also love to know ?!?
Really good & enjoyable report ! The TG A350 cabin looks great and the food for this short flight is amazing. I'm at BKK early next year - might try this route to experience the TG A350 - just for fun of course. Cheers
