RE: Photo Of Atlantis Reentry From ISS Real Or Not?

Passing along some comments from launch photographer Ben Copper: The trail shot is not a time elapse. The plasma trail remains visible for minutes after the shuttle has passed by that part of the atmosphere. Those images are probably only a second or two long at most. The station crew is using Nikon...

RE: STS-135: Final Space Shuttle Touchdown 'The End'

I have never seen a landing up close before - and never at night. It was a powerful experience. I wish I could re-create the experience for you. We couldn't see the shuttle and the only warning we got (besides the sonic boom-boom) was the swooshing getting louder and louder. Our eyes were searching ...

RE: Canon EF24-105 F/4 L First Impressions

Karl,

Have you tried micro adjustment with that lens? I thought I had a bad copy as well until I did the micro adjustment. At +10, my 24-105 is my most "off" lens (I'm using a 50D as well).

Thanks for sharing and giving us a fascinating and rare look! Passing this along from a "rivet counter" friend: Great report! P-561, the Air Koryo airliner that you flew and photgraphed, is a Tu-154B model, not a Tu-154M. Air Koryo only has Tu-154Bs. It is easy to differentiate the two models by loo...

Just want to let you guys know - I contacted ebay and as Brick stated above - all ebay did was return back a form email and a link for me to fax in a statement. After filling out and faxing back the form, I got another form email back, but my photos were still up for sale after a few days. It seems ...
