Hello all, Recently, someone has added a huge chunk about "Allegations of Intolerance" within A.net. The paragraphs are rather rambling and redundant, citing individual users in what could be considered a breach of privacy (not outright, but in the citations). While it is true that some co...Jump to post
Delta's 321s are going to have MORE seats than AA's even after AA is done with the retrofit. So don't tell me AA's planes are tight and Delta's are not. Please... Enough with the fake news in here. Fake news? Naw, the comfort won't last long, the 321s are next up for an "Upgrade" with Oas...Jump to post
AirAsia India has started priority boarding for military personnel. All airlines should implement that too How silly! They are not getting any faster to the battle field now are they? The US has been doing that for quite some time. There is often a round of applause in the gate area/onboard, and th...Jump to post
I think it's definitely worth it. Especially with southwest's free checked bags and flight change policy. It's the best airline in the world for self connecting. The problem with that might be that many Europeans aren't familiar with the Southwest product. There isn't a single airline in Europe tha...Jump to post
From STL, you can book departures to OGG from $133 one way (starting April 10), but no returns available. On STL-HNL, flights are available starting April 8 (lowest fare that month also $133), but no returns available, except for one oddball April 7 flight (before departures start) for $252. No KOA ...Jump to post
"Barack Obama International Airport at Orchard Field, Chicago". Or perhaps "Barack Obama International Airport at Midway Field, Chicago". Both are good. Mr. Obama, however, would probably insist that nothing be named after him until at least ten years after his death, which was ...Jump to post
One part of IAH that I find interesting--and that has not been discussed much--is the Spirit focus city. It has seen a few international cuts (especially after its ambitious 2015 Latin America expansion) but has mostly remained steady. Do you think Spirit is in a position to grow here? Also, asking ...Jump to post

Not bookable yet but of note. We will see if it is real or not. AC STL-YYZ JUN 3>4 JUL 3>4 AUG 3>4 SEP 3>4 OCT 3>4 Must be related to AC moving all of their regional flying from Air Georgian to Jazz. Still, surprised at the increase in capacity. I’ve been on several STL-YYZ flights i...Jump to post

I also avoid the CRJ200 like the plague.
BTV has been announced. SYR is surprising, but not too surprising, given that ALB and BUF are both served by F9 and WN and F9 recently started it. PWM is surprising, and I hope it does well as a summer seasonal. GSP is not too surprising, one of those "retaliation markets" served by F9. I ...Jump to post
Any thoughts on NK in STL? I'm actually a little surprised they haven't entered the market yet. I would also say, while there is some overlap, they aren't the same type of product as WN. I think they could do similar to CMH, where they came in with Florida cities and Vegas. Especially seeing as NK ...Jump to post

My favorite place. Used to have Birthday dinners as a kid here. Also took my wife here to sit out on the patio have a few and watch the planes land. Sad it is gone.
And India palace too. What's left for STL spotters?
It blows my mind that United serves Kearney, Scottsbluff, Devil's Lake, Jamestown, and not Pierre. Even DL serves Aberdeen from MSP. Hopefully it is rectified soon. It may not be DEN-PIR-ATY, but it will at least be DEN-PIR.Jump to post
It is high time that someone update this thread title.Jump to post
When I fly from Atlanta to Atlanta I still have to change planes in Atlanta.
Brasilia used to be served. They should bring that back.Jump to post

Contour is going to use C27. Sun Country is switching to C28. Makes sense because I don't think C28 can handle regional jets since it is setup for widebodies. This now means all the open gates except A9 are in use by someone regularly (although some are only a couple flights a week). I've been on a...Jump to post
Swoop needs to do YXX-AZA or YXX-OAK. They got a lot of potential but aren't using YXX to it's full potential. Perhaps they'll do so once seasonal service to Mexico end , at least for OAK. Don't forget they only have six aircraft at the moment. https://www.flyswoop.com/where-we-fly.html Edit: "...Jump to post
I wonder if AS might be interested in serving SEA with their QX Q-400's? Seems like it'd be a perfect route for them. How much demand is there from YXX how much cheaper could it be than driving to SEA or BLI? That's what I was wondering. Allegiant has been able to capitalize on Canadian travelers f...Jump to post
How much clout does Spirit have in slot wars at constrained airports? I think it should focus on second-tier cities, like their recent adds of Columbus and Asheville. I would love to see some Mid-western expansion (a la IND, STL, OKC, MKE). They have already got the big routes (LAX-DEN, ORD-LGA, etc...Jump to post
United flies at least mainline per day to Houston Bush, usually in the evening A random Wednesday June 19th shows IAH with an a319, ORD with a 738 and SFO 2x A320. Probably the most UA mainline I've seen. They run more in summer. DEN had one last year but I think SFO only had 1. ORD didn't have one...Jump to post
Doing my best to boost STL, booked a trip there for April ! Geoff Where from? From the UK. Flying LHR - ORD -STL -PHL - LHR with AA/BA. Geoff Nice! I was just in London this Christmas. Flew STL-MCO-LGW and back on the same routing. STL-MCO and opposite were on WN, and BA was selling some insanely c...Jump to post
