Re: St. Louis Aviation Thread - 2019

Anyone have news on the performance of F9's new routes (JAX. PBI, PUJ)? This kind of reminds me of the time they expanded in 2015/16, then cut almost all of it.

United flies at least mainline per day to Houston Bush, usually in the evening A random Wednesday June 19th shows IAH with an a319, ORD with a 738 and SFO 2x A320. Probably the most UA mainline I've seen. They run more in summer. DEN had one last year but I think SFO only had 1. ORD didn't have one...

I don't know how to feel. On one hand, I empathize with the TSA agent's struggles. He may or may not have been in his right mind, but I do believe everyone has a purpose in this world. Re: Why didn't AA order the 73G?

Makes me wonder if AA considered rotating one of those A319s on MIA-EYW, maybe for the RON or something. Can't imagine they couldn't handle that mission. The 175 does just fine on MIA-EYW, since it has slower takeoff speeds with slats. Remember they were sending 145s on that route as well, and the ...

In general the 73G was only really popular with UA (ex-CO frames) and WN. UA only has around 36 of them and DL has like 10 for high performance on short runways (like EYW.) AA ordered their 738s in major gaps. There was no real reason to order more until fuel spiked around 2008 and they had to get ...
