Anybody from A.net has made, will make, one of these? I'm currently working on one using a Mitsubishi TEO4H turbo from an auto wrecker, cost $30 and is in much, much better condition than those that are sold on e-bay. For those who haven't even heard about these engines, here are some interesting li...

RE: A320 APU Throttles Up And Down For What?

Well, from the outside thats the only sound the A320 made, I didn't hear any constant jet whine coming from the same plane, and it sounded like if it came from the tail. I heard this for almost the whole hour I was at the gate. Once inside, the air pressure from the airconditioning was strong and co...

I'd say it was rejected because of the long exposure time and because of the moving subjects. If the other aircraft had been static and visible, I'm sure it wouldn't have been rejected. Great picture by the way.

A320 APU Throttles Up And Down For What?

I noticed on my first ride in an A320 (Mexicana) that the apu stays at high revolutions for around 8 minutes, then decelerates significantly and maintains a much slower speed for about 2 minutes, and then throttles up and continues the cycle again. This was while it was at the gate, and did this all...

RE: Is It Possible To Follow Ai Aircraft

search for "AI Tactical Display" in flightsim.com It shows you all the AI planes near you. Remember that these planes use direct routes, it's good to find out their destination and use "go to" in the gps and follow them with the autopilot.

Airliners With "smoki'n" Engines...

Hi fellow A.net surfers!!! To celebrate my 1st thread, I ask you the following question: Which plane do you think has the engines that give off the most smoke? My vote goes to the 707, it really leaves a dark trail of soot on takeoff. I'd say the Concorde (We shall never forget!!  <img src="/di...
