There's also the option to base V-22's off the carrier as well as tanker assets, instead of abusing Super Hornets in the buddy refuelling role. The USMC has already developed an aerial refuelling kit for their V-22's, which has demonstrated success in testing.

A longer flight would need more fuel so it's an overall weight limitation. True. However a majority of the flight is to reach the fires. It really depends on what you mean by 'best'. The lens that offers the best image quality is the Canon 100-400L, and for regular airport photography I'd say it's the best all-rounder.
