There is a building there but no airbridges and stuff.

Canon responded with a 'send to authorised repair agent along with proof of purchase and warranty documents' Looks like they will not replace. Ah well, no harm in trying. It is almost 6 years old after all.

It's not a major issue I know. I just prefer using the camera with it as I find it easier to hold. Might go for one of the unbranded ones.

I've not been to an airport since September last year so I'm in no rush to get one!
