I agree.

Why the "stinks"

Couldn't you just have asked "Are BA axing the 757"

There is (was) one called Airlines.

I have a copy. I don't use it any more. It wasn't anything exciting.

Hi

BalairCTA has been using that colour scheme for years now.

It looks really good, especially in the sunshine.

RE: Airbus Purchases

I agree with you Lufthansa.

Once again another post, Airbus v Boeing.

It is up to the airlines to decide which aircraft they think is the most economical, cost effective etc.

If they choose Airbus...ok.
If they choose Boeing....ok.

RE: Boeing 707 Experience

Hi I flew on a TAROM Romanian 707 back in 1979. I cannot remember much about the flight but remember only two things............. running from the terminal to the stairs going to the back entrance and also looking out of the window seeing the two engines. Pity thats all I can remember. Gary Aberdeen...

RE: Brainiff Concord?

Hi

No, they never flew the Concorde. They only flew it in conjunction with BA.

I have a Braniff promotional brochure showing a Concorde taking off in their colours, but it was a computer image.

RE: Ansett To Sydney

Thanks all for your replys.

I am flying to Perth with SQ so the airpass deal is with Ansett.

How long is the flight?

Anything nice to see from the cabin e.g sights, kangaroos, maybe the odd koala?

Thanks

Gary

RE: The Best Fs98 Site?

Hi

Why not try www.avsim.com and www.simflight.com

Both are excellent, but i still prefer Flightsim.com

It's a bit easier to access all the files. I have downloaded quite a few 737-600's from flightsim.com along with panels and sounds.

Hi All

A question for our Australian friends.

Can anyone tell me which aircraft Ansett use on the Perth to Sydney route.

I will be over there in November.

RE: Concorde Cabin Service

Hi

I was on a Concorde charter flight back in 1992 and the service was superb.

Plenty of smoked salmon, chicken and champagne.

A visit to the flightdeck at 60,000ft was one of the highlights.

RE: BA Colors Questions

Hi

I don't think that they will got for the Chelsea Rose as the airline is 'British' Airways and not 'English' Airways.

If they are to go fleet wide with a design I think it should be the Union Flag as on the Concorde. The best one I think.

I liked the billboard Pan Am livery designed by Airbus Industrie.

I remember seeing an A310 overflying Aberdeen, Scotland a few years ago and you could see the lettering without binoculars!!

I think it is for commonality with the A319's and A320's.

It makes sense to go with the A330

Virgin's New Colours Are Comin

Recently read that Virgin's new colours are to be very different. Possibly featuring all silver or natural metal fuselage with both the Virgin logo and the Union flag. Richard Branson has said that the livery will be more "classy" than anything BA has ever done. We will wait and see. I will look for...

Hi All i am looking for shots of a Scandinavian airline called Mey Air. They operated in Scandinavia, I think, in the early 70's. Anyone heard of/remember them? I remember a film with Sean Connery and a Mey Air 737-200 was featured. Help appreciated. Best Regards Gary Watt Aberdeen, Scotland

RE: American's New Livery

i have got to say, that with all the current designer liveries, it would be great for American to go back to a version of the lightning bolt scheme.

A 777 with polished silver fuselage, red bolt, would just look stunning!!
