My bad ... thought it was a 757 ... remarkable act in unison by the employees that truly loved their jobs, careers and the company known as DELTA back then It was forced upon them. Jump to postI think it would behoove the pilots to remember that their row is with the airline and not with the flying public. So if they want to have general public support then they should wait until after the holidays to begin any industrial action. They can’t strike until the NMB declares an impasse and re...

Jump to postA strike vote is moot at this point. 1. There hasnt been an impasse declared 2. The NMB hasn’t released them into a 30 day cooling off period. Delta pilots are at the mercy of the mediator, yes. But this adds fuel to the fire of an impasse being declared. Maybe it will make an impasse more likely, ...
Jump to postDelta has them self in somewhat of an optics predicament here. Other carriers are seeing TA’s and ratification in favor of the pilot groups. But Delta specifically has a serious reputation to be lost if reliability tumbles. On the other hand, there is the drive for other Delta groups, notably its f...

I know this has to do more with pay than other problems but does the whole JV situation play a little into this too? I recalled there was a thread earlier saying that DL was negotiating with alpa on how they will operate more flights in their own metal or something. https://www.airliners.net/forum/...

It will be done by local AA mechanics and a field trip from Miami Maintenance.

It'll buff out. But seriously, I wouldn't count on a 2200 departure tomorrow. They may send another plane to pick up the stranded paxs. All flights to the US are pretty much full, so there's hardly any space to accommodate them on other flights. The plane will be fine, that engine however is a writ...

I doubt any airline that already doesn’t fly the 330 would bid on it. The the training costs, maintenance, spares etc would be a tremendous outlay of expenses. Plus the 330 isn’t on their AOC nor any pilots or maintenance personnel qualified to work them without training etc.

According to Wiki, AA is 68% captive at PHL (not to mention it's the 5-6th largest metro in the country) which is more than what UA has at EWR at this point. So no, I wouldn't worry about it in jeopardy at all. Regardless of what people want to think on this forum, AA is in good shape at most of it...
