RE: BWI Bag Handlers Busted For Theft From Military!

It did say that the prosecutor called it a "major felony theft scheme". That statement alone tells me that they will most likely prosecute for grand larceny, racketeering, and possibly federal charges for commiting felonious acts at an international airport. It would seem that they would get at leas...

RE: BWI Bag Handlers Busted For Theft From Military!

I had worked at a major airport in California (do not want to name) and saw many times baggage handlers rummaging through luggage. I believe that you will always have thieves no matter their income (Enron and Tyco CEOs) <img src="/discussions/graphics/smilies/dollarsign.gif" alt="dollarsign" bo...

RE: Skiing Or Snowboarding?!?

As for equipment....rent don't buy. You may not like it and as you get better you'll want longer(you'll go faster). When learning use small skis like 160cm or something similar as well as a curved "carving ski" to help turning, not the straight skis.

RE: Skiing Or Snowboarding?!?

I do both and like both of them the same. There's nothing better than hitting some moguls full blast on skis or carving powder on a board. The only thing I hate is hearing skiers sound like old men when complaining about boarders "...and look at the way they dress. They have no respect for skiers."....

RE: F1 News! Only 6 Cars To Race!

I have only become a F1 fan recently. I've always been irritated by NASCAR with round and round racing at slow speeds. They put restricter plates on the engines and the cars have not been allowed to become progressively quicker. F1 has the most advanced cars (much more attractive also) going as prog...

RE: Today:Fuel Dump Over Black Forrest, South Germany

Several years ago a widebody dumped jet fuel over Phoenix and there was a commotion about the environmental and health ramifications. There were several experts who assured the public that all jet fuel evaporates after several thousand feet of elevation. Assuming a 3660 (12005 feet)meter fuel jettis...
